How we got here...

Pete and Mandy Poulsen were married in 2009 and share a lifelong passion for horses, ranching and rodeo. Both grew up on cattle ranches, learning the values of hard work, grit and horsemanship from a young age.

Pete spent his early years in Arizona around extraordinary cattlemen and horsemen, where he gained invaluable knowledge and a deep respect for good stock and solid training. As a teenager, he moved to Utah and pursued a successful bull riding career, all while continuing to hone his skills as a horse trainer.

Mandy grew up on horseback, often spending more time in the saddle than at home. She learned horsemanship from her dad and grandpa, building a strong foundation that carried her into a successful barrel racing career. Her natural feel and understanding of horses continue to shape her approach today.

After marrying in 2009, Pete and Mandy continued to rodeo, train their own horses and take on a select number of outside horses. In 2016 they welcomed their son, Ace, and are now instilling in him the same values they were raised with: hard work, respect for animals and a deep appreciation for the western way of life.

Today, the Poulsens remain deeply rooted in the rodeo world, with a strong focus on developing versatile, usable horses; horses that are dependable, willing and capable of handling any job they're asked to do. Their program is built on real-world experience, proven horsemanship and a commitment to producing horses that work as hard as the people who ride them.
